One of the main roles of CSCN's Children's Services is to connect children and adolescents with complex needs to various services and supports. 

​Our Children's Services team offers services to the following areas:

Our Role
 

CSCN Children’s Services connects children, youth, and families with complex needs to the programs, services, and supports that best meet their unique circumstances. Through information, referrals, service coordination, and system navigation, we help families access the resources they need to support children and youth with developmental disabilities, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), and other complex needs. Our goal is to help families build pathways to full and meaningful lives. More information about the services we coordinate can be found in the sections below.

Coordinated Service Planning

Coordinating multiple services for children and youth with complex needs.

Residential Placement Advisory Committee

Ensuring that children and youth in out-of-home care receive the quality of services and support they need.

Access to Inpatient Services at CPRI

Coordinates referrals for developmental disability inpatient services at CPRI.

Complex Special Needs Funding

Supports families of children and youth with complex special needs

Supporting youth with complex needs as they transition to adulthood.

Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder Services Coordination

Connecting children, youth, and their families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder to short term supports. 

Shared Solutions

Facilitates cross-sector collaboration for complex service coordination needs.
